Your Honor
Objective
Your Honor, ordered as a limited series, premiered on December 6, 2020, to strong ratings. Although the ending was conclusive, Showtime renewed it for a second, final season. Covid delayed production by over a year, and season 2 premiered on January 15, 2023. We needed to bridge that two-year gap and get fans back to the series. Based on research, we chose to explore the extreme pain and ongoing sense of loss that our main character carries from the first season.
Approach
Lean on the show’s established black-and-white visual language. Capture the loss and suffering of our main character, Michael Desiato. Keeping the design clean lets our concept shine.
Role
As a design lead, I outlined the campaign strategy, detailed photo direction, and visual language for the campaign. Without an agency partner, I took a hands-on approach, working with the amazing Lisa Carney on finishing.
