AI models don’t understand the images fed into it. I was able to leverage that lack of understanding to generate off-kilter surrealist imagery flavored by Hieronymus Bosch and Mark Weaver.
Gothic Boy Band
This series extrapolates Gustav Klimt’s painting style to fashion, hair styling and background pattern to create a new vision of the boy band. This pre-visualization could be applied to the real world.

At Showtime, there was suspicion about what Midjourney V4 would mean for the industry following its release on November 10th, 2022. In December, I gave this presentation to the design group outlining what it could and couldn’t do. I also recommended how to use it effectively and outlined some upcoming legal issues.
